Gloria first began her career in the food industry in the late eighties. Seeking professional growth and experience for herself, Gloria began working for Tapia Brothers in 1992. Throughout the years, Gloria has played key roles in the company's operation and success. These roles include managing the will call, taking orders in customer service, bringing in new products as a buyer, and obtaining new business as a sales representative. In 2006, Gloria moved to Las Vegas to open up the first Tapia Brothers distribution warehouse in the Vegas market. She oversaw the day to day operations in Las Vegas as the General Manager. In 2016, Gloria re-joined the Tapia Brothers purchasing department as the Special Prints and Specialty Items Buyer. Gloria's vast knowledge and dynamic work ethic are highly valued and have contributed tremendously to Tapia’s growth within the foodservice industry.
